Liner Nots

I typed "nots" then corrected it, "notes", then changed it back. I like it that way.

So here are the credits and lyrics. Should I say something about the album? Should I thank my parents and god? Should I talk about how many years it has taken for these songs to come together into a record-thing? How many versions of each track are taking up hard drive space after trying so hard to get them just right until abandoning them, leaving them to rot, unfinished, unloved. If I say that, then I should probably make a statement about how I'm not just recycling songs for the sake of releasing something. After all, these songs are near and dear to my heart, each and every one. I'm just lazy, and I'm a perfectionist up to the point where I stop giving a shit, and never get around to re recording that vocal or trying a new keyboard part because the last one sounded a little empty. I hate it when artists put out an album I really like and then talk shit about it later. "I don't know what I was thinking when I made that. Gawd!" So I'm getting all that out of the way right now. Because after letting these songs sit for three, four, five years I think I like them a lot better now than I did when I was constantly trying to fix them. So I guess I should thank Dan "Adhesiveslipper" (this started out as a legitimate question to you, Dan, but kinda turned into the liner notes somewhere along my babbling. Use your judgment, but I think we should leave all of this in.) for hounding me for files or else they would still be collecting "dust" in my hard drive. I hope you like it.

Okay, Dan, it's me again. Did I miss anything? Are all the lyrics down there?
